There Is A God...

... And she loves Sock Monkeys.
My sewing machine works. I was positive it was DOA, and had been for the last three years.
Sock Monkeys to ensue...

Edit:

Actually, no she doesn't. Nope. She tried to lull me into a false sense of security. The monkey has a body, legs, a tail, and cut outs for arms and ears. Everything is DONE except for those arms and ears and now the friggen thing wont stay threaded. I seem to recall this being the issue I had three years ago. I do NOT have patience for this. No, no I don't.
Edit 2:
I just want you all to know that I'm a quiter. Seriously. I don't know how anyone is supposed to sew with three kids under foot, one shrieking at the top of their lungs, one jumping on the couch and saying 'Mommy, what's this? But why?!' and the other running past the machine and unplugging the cord each. and. every. time. Ugh.
So, now I'll go look on Etsy for someone to make me a sock monkey or 5, since they must have piece and quiter, or are deaf, or take special medication (specialer than mine) to make them not to ring their pretties necks while crafting.
Seriously, if you've never looked up sock monkey instructions (if you need some let me know, I found a good one with pictures, kind of like sock monkeys for dummies) they are the easiest things to make. For this reason I am particularly annoyed that the LPs and the sewing-machine-from-hell have to rain on my parade like that.
Calgon... take me away...
PS - What the hell is wrong with the spacing on Blogger?! Seriously?! I am not spacially challenged, I did space my paragraphs, etc... but once I publish them Blogger has it all squashed today. I even edit the HTML and it still gives me attitude. Can you tell I'm about two seconds away from some kind of flip out? Oh good, BP has found a rattle...

  1. dude...I am always about two seconds away from a flip-out. And yes, blogger bugs sometimes. It always "adjusts" my spacing for me. Ticks me off.

Sorry about your sewing machine. Hopefully you can get your hands on some sock monkeys in the very near future. :)
